Bottles and Blues and Beautiful Hues

Loving the painterly effects of summer blues and aged doors; a perfect backdrop for an eclectic grouping of bottles with pops of colour and pretty summery blooms.

A shabby chic affair with bottles wrapped in twine set against a plaster pink barn wall... love Farrow and Ball's 'Setting Plaster' Estate emulsion; really evocative of old crumbling plaster walls...beautiful!
Doerte, our beautiful and sweet bride from Germany, chose dusky pink tones for her wedding dress which was stunning! A bouquet of faded dusty pink roses with an antiqued feel....quite lovely. The twined bottles, pretty barn walls and lavender blues were a heavenly match. I adored creating this styling.
Jane chose a loosely tied bouquet of seasonal summer blooms with some herbs picked from my garden for scent. We added quirky little tea cups alongside hurricane lamps filled with abundant summer florals to make you smile.
Jane and Brandon chose to fly from New York to the wild west of Scotland to get married. Heritage and homecoming was important to them.......and they loved it. And yes, she cried!
